Cheryl

Cheryl has full custody of her grandson, Leon. When Leon was 1, his mother tried to kill him. Since that time, Cheryl has been raising him. They spent a period of time in a shelter because they were homeless. Cheryl's been struggling with health issues, chronic bronchitis, and needs a knee replacement. She's been out of work and her health makes it difficult to sustain the workday in jobs where one would be on their feet much of the day. She wants to provide a nice Christmas for Leon, but they don't have much to spare. She's involved in her church and they've helped her consistently, but she doesn't want to be a burden or take from others who also have need. Leon has recently discovered a love for fishing and he wants some fishing equipment for Christmas. Cheryl would love to be able to provide that for him so that he can fish with friends and enjoy God's creation outside. I would love to see her be able to get some help this Christmas.

Melissa

I met Melissa on an app called next door. She is requesting help to provide for her niece who is moving in with her unexpectedly. She and her husband live humbly and need assistance for all the physical items a 7-year-old girl would need. Melissa is a Christian and has been praying for a child. Please pray for this transition and for all involved.

Michele

Michele has two preteen daughters, ages 11 and 12. She is a single mom without any child support and works full time as a counselor. She has been barely able to make ends meet and so I know Christmas is going to be an impossibility. Please help her and her daughters have a nice Christmas. The girls have a rocky relationship with their dad as well.

Jennifer

Hi my name is Jennifer, my husband Kevin was diagnosed with End Stage Renal disease and without a transplant this will likely be his last Christmas. I want to make it special for us but we are struggling financially and have no extra money for Christmas for our family. We have a Son and Daughter in law and two grandsons who he adores and he wants to make Christmas special for them too. Thank you for the opportunity to share this wish. God Bless you

Jerry

Jerry had a stroke and has been trying to recover from his disabilities while trying to raise his 2 boys ages 11 and 12. While also trying to help his 21 year old son as he becomes an adult. His house he was renting is now being sold and it has been very difficult for his entire family as they have struggled to find housing on a fixed income of disability. This would truly be a blessing for this wonderful family that has not very much already and all their money has been put to finding a new home.

Judith

I found my dad 10 years ago because I submitted a DNA test to Ancestry.com. He just turned 80 and I take care of him. Recently my dad lost his condo that he owned because of unpaid HOA fees. He then got scammed and lost 30% of the money he was supposed to get from the auction of his condo. After court fees, lawyer fees etc., my dad is broke and living on 2000 a month from Soc. Sec. He recently went in to the hospital for several issues but is improving and should be coming home soon. He needs in home daycare/assistance but Medicare is refusing to cover it, so that I can work. He's unable to walk his dog and has no friends or family except me. I can't afford groceries, food stamps take time to get, and we have no help. I guess I'm not sure really what to ask for other than my dad and I need help or I need help caring for him. So I'm asking for prayers to start, that the Lord will bring the right kind of help from the right people or organization so that I'm able to care for my dad, keep him safe and in his apartment, I'm in the process of moving in with him, but he's in a one bedroom apartment. Thank you and God bless. Judith

Sherrie

Hi. My name is Sherrie. I am a single mom of 2 amazing teens, 15 and 16. I have been divorced a long time and typically my kids and I do pretty good for ourselves. My children and I really love the Lord and live our lives accordingly. I work full time at a local factory and both of my kids work at local fast food restaurants. About 6 months ago, my overtime at work was eliminated. I have worked daily/weekly overtime for 3 years straight to be able to adequately provide for my little family. With each passing month, it has become harder and harder to meet the needs in our home. I seem to be trying to pay what's absolutely necessary from week to week and finally the past 6-7 weeks I have been strictly paycheck to paycheck. I have managed to keep our home functioning but with no overtime I have no idea how I will provide Christmas for my kids. It breaks my heart thinking of it. I have never asked or received help before. I'm a firm believer in hard work. Unfortunately, finances are extra challenging right now. My kids are so kind and loving, I desperately want to be able to give them at least a modest Christmas. Again, I've never asked before for help.... it feels like I'm not very good at this. I had to humble myself and ask because I'm simply not able to do it myself this year and I know they deserve (as every kid does) a Christmas. If you would please help us, I would be so very grateful and when I'm able I will absolutely pay it forward. Thank you so much!!! God Bless You!!

Tiffany

I am sharing my hope for this Christmas for my children and my sister's children. My sister lost her husband in December of last year and she has two little boys both autistic and she lost her home as well so they've been living with me and my family. I've tried to make sure that everyone in the home is comfortable and everyone has what they need but in doing this we have gone through our savings and Christmas this year might not be a possibility. My husband and I have five children and with my sister and her children we have a 10 person household so the struggle is real however God has made sure that the bills are getting paid even if it's late. I've been doordashing while the children are at school and in between after school programs as much as I can and every weekend to try and stay afloat. That's how I heard of this program, I listen to Hope 100.7 everyday while I doordash and my hopes and prayers have always gone to others. This time I'm praying for my children and my sister's children. Our normal tradition is the first gift they get every morning they open for Jesus for his birthday. So as long as they each have one thing to open it's all that matters. God bless the readers and God bless those who are struggling.

Tim

I heard your commercial about granting a wish or needing help and I'm a single dad I have an okay job but it doesn't pay enough for me to do expensive things. I went and had my car looked at it's a 2007 Lincoln and it needs a bunch of suspension work it's loose all over the road it's almost not road worthy and the local honest mechanic told me it's about $3,000. I'm praying someone out there who's a believer and a supporter of Hope 100.7 may own a mechanic shop and know how to do the work and will either give me a good price or help me pay for it somehow all I can do is pray all I can do is pray in Jesus name amen!

Sharon

My mom is a wonderful lady. She babysits for her grandchildren while we are at work, she even picks them up from school. She is really struggling with bills. She has had it rough all her life. She had breast cancer 7 years ago and won! The bad thing is she is still in so much pain and swelling. The doctors keep telling her you will just have to deal with the pain. She fights every day. It seems like when she rises she then gets hit back a few spaces. The bills are stacking up and it's hard to keep up. It's coming to where she will have to move into another home where she really doesn't want to. I would love for her to be with me; but I have no room. She is trying to see the light; but she is honestly drowning. I would love for her to see that there is still so much love and good in the world.
