You’re not alone

When we lost our son in 2021, Hope became a source of comfort to us. We felt broken beyond repair but the music reminds us daily that we are not alone!

Sandra

I’ve listened since a child, and realize all these years later this radio station is still a faithful rock/anchor that I can lean on. It brings comfort and conviction.

Lil

Your radio station helps me get ready for the day and it reminds me on the drive home that God is still in control.

Tim

We found this station 4 years ago when I was going through cancer treatments and haven’t turned it off since. By God’s grace, I am healed from cancer, for the third time! I give God all the praise! Thank you for the great music!

Juanita

I love Music! Gospel music is uplifting and great for the soul. It keeps my mind on the Lord and that is exactly where we need to be.

Janine

Every day I want to make people smile, and Hope helps fuel me to do that...I pour out, and Hope pours in!

Drew

The world needs love and this station sends it out every day!

Julie Pierce

Julie grew up as a pastor’s daughter and yes…

Julie grew up as a pastor’s daughter (and yes…that means she has enough stories to write a book!), and eventually met her husband, Daryl, in their radio broadcasting classes at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Julie has been in Christian Radio, mostly in Cincinnati, for almost 27 years, and speaking of stories, her two children, Spencer and Regan, have provided loads of stories for her to share on the radio through the years as well! Besides being a sharer of encouragement and hope through the airwaves, Julie is an artist, and loves to paint. She especially likes to paint murals on walls or new designs on fabric chairs, or sure…canvases too!

Julie felt God pulling her to leave her comfort zone and trust Him as he led her to a new adventure here at HOPE 100.7, where she is excited to see what He has in mind for her future and for HOPE 100.7!

Cas Adams fell in love with radio the moment he heard his first episode of American Top 40 with Casey Kasem back in January 1982. Born in New Jersey and raised in Atlanta, Cas spent his school years immersed in music—taking classes by day and memorizing chart stats by night. If you’ve got a question about ’80s pop or need a ringer for your music trivia team, Cas is your guy.
While studying at Belmont University in Nashville, Cas recorded an air-check at a local college station that landed in the hands of a station in Cincinnati. Within weeks, his radio career was off and running.
In 1994, Cas married his college sweetheart and relocated to her hometown of Cincinnati, where he’s been in radio ever since.
His mission at Hope 100.7? To make your evenings a space to unwind, recharge, and enjoy great music—whether you’re winding down from work or just getting started.

Kurt's wanted to do this since he...

I've wanted to do radio since 8th grade. I grew up in the St. Louis area and, of course, was a HUGE Cardinal baseball fan! I got a little transistor radio for Christmas that year (showing my age!) and would listen to and repeat what Hall of Fame broadcaster, Jack Buck would say on the radio. That love of broadcasting grew throughout high school and when I enrolled at Greenville College, I went to work at the college radio station on day one!

Fast-forward many years and a few radio station assignments later, I am here at Hope 100.7 and couldn’t be happier! I already feel at home! The Miami Valley is such a great place to live and raise a family. Hope 100.7 is here to make it even better!

I have been married to the “most beautiful girl in the world,” Amy, for 36 years. We have 4 awesome kids (grown now) and 8 incredible grandchildren! Oh, and 2 doodles. Millie is a Golden Doodle and Maggie is a Cavapoo (King Charles Spaniel and Toy Poodle mix).

I love this from Max Lucado…“HOPE is not a granted wish or a favor performed; no it is far greater than that. It is a zany, unpredictable dependence on a God who loves to surprise us out of our socks.”

Joy is no stranger to radio with 30 years of experience in Christian radio as well as television. She hosted “Joy in the Morning” on WEEC for 10 years prior to her move to San Antonio, Texas. While in San Antonio, Joy was the Promotions Director for 3 Salem Communication stations as well as morning drive host on KSLR. Joy also was a host for TBN’s Community Affairs program, “Joy In Our Town” as well as a guest on various occasions.

Joy’s newest “hat” at Hope 100.7 is hosting EnJoy! You can spend your evenings with Joy from 7-midnight.

Growing up in Ohio and moving to Michigan for 7 years early in her marriage proved to be a challenge, especially on game day! Seriously, God has shown Himself strong in her life as well as her husband Charles, daughters, Lauren and Olivia through many tough struggles that could easily break a family apart. When Joy is not speaking, writing or planning retreats, she enjoys time with her family.

Joy’s favorite scripture is Psalm 16:11 “He will show you the pathway of life and in His Presence is fullness of joy.”
