I am struggling in this process of being made new out of the stuff that lasts! I am repenting! I am making the 180° turn to the life I’m supposed to be living. Jesus took on my sin, but I am trying to “go and sin no more.” I need more of Him! I am asking for a desire to pray for others! A desire to spend more time in the Bible, to avoid secular music when I control the dial, to keep garbage tv and movies off my tv, that when I speak it’s out of Love. I want God to make the areas that seem gray to be more black and white. To not let my hobbies and interests be more important than Truth. I ask that the Holy Spirit guides me and that I don’t resist. My hope is that Jesus still calls me his even after I have resisted so often in the past. I don’t want these changes to be as a man trying to do it alone. want a sense of peace about my relationship with Him. Help me pull the planks so I can help those around me with their specks.
